The roles you choose also offer a few different types of utility, allowing you to add meaningful abilities to your creatures as needed
Some enemy Pokmon can transform some Pokmon in your squares into others (usually, by Pokmon that do not deal a lot of damage to them, like an Electric-type Pokmon summoning some on your field to counter your ultra-effective Rock-types)
Amazing synergy here: discard, card draw, ramp and Minotaur Tribal synergy
Sleeving hides a lot of minor variance, which is one reason sleeves are basically mandatory once youve been burned by a single bent corner
