Id like to see this mechanic return with cards costed for Constructed play, and I think Im not alone there

It might have been nice if they based a card mechanic on that, but what they did give us was a 1/1 beetle that grows by another 1/1 every time a player sacrifices one of their own creatures

I think both slabs look good

Condition and grading A card might not be scarce overall, but high-grade (PSA 10) copies can be very limited

Include with it a bit of insight into some of the card choices and why you think its a great Pauper Commander deck
