This uncommon landfall commander is perhaps not the most exciting card from the set, but the ability to fetch up any land at all is pretty nice
There are 4 spells I have found that help get you more bang out of your trinkets and gew-gaws
These are some of my favorites: Caustic Caterpillar, Hammer Mage, Manglehorn, Reclamation Sage, Viashino Heretic, Sunder Shaman, Acidic Slime, Ingot Chewer, Molder Slug, Bane of Progress, Nature's Claim, Hull Breach, Cindervines, Vandalblast, By Force, Meltdown Artifacts/Enchantments: Ulvenwald Tracker, Polukranos, World Eater, Balefire Dragon, Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, Sudden Demise, Rolling Earthquake Creatures: Scavenging Ooze, Deathgorge Scavenger, Loaming Shaman, Ravenous Slime Graveyard: Acidic Slime, Decimate Flexible: Tutors The best creatures that can also tutor have to be Fierce Empath, Fauana Shaman, Imperial Recruiter, and Woodland Bellower
(2025-09-19) If no card is discarded, most likely because that player's hand is empty and an effect says they can't draw cards, the conniving creature does not receive a +1/+1 counter
It loses a marginal (and probably easily replaced) one-drop in Falkenrath Gorger and two solid removal spells in Collective Defiance and Incendiary Flow
