A very fine and fresh example printed by De La Rue in black on white glazed card (92x60mm) endorsed "BEFORE HARDENING)" and dated

The error occurred only once per sheet in the October 1886 printing. Of the 21 possible examples, only six unused examples have been recorded, one of which resides in the Royal Philatelic Collection. With a British Philatelic Association (BPA) certificate of authenticity, 14,400 (1949), not present. A very rare and most visually appealing overprint error.
