As for the father and son, theres only 13 cards (so far, Im expecting at least two more in Avatar) that reference experience counters and the only five-color one is Azlask, the other five-color Eldrazi
A Super Pre-Release version was available at the SPR event in Oct-Nov 22, and the normal release version was first available in Dec 2022
It will rotate out of Standard soon, but since it is a card frequently used in Modern in particular, there is a high possibility that its price will rise in the future

In Simic, youre bound to get more than enough ramp and extra land drops, though I personally would add one or two more lands to quell any fears of a potential mana-dry game
