Trying to keep pace with a Hierarch when playing a highly aggressive deck is a head slumping experience, and due to the lack of competition most decks with access to the colored mana would choose this over other creatures in the same price range
Select this to be presented with the Flairs you have available, and then spend some Shinedust and duplicate cards on unlocking it
Other permanents include lands, enchantments, and creatures
(Like Priest of Gix, Palinchron, Snap) or to break something like a buyback spell (Capsize) and such
It seems as though male angels outside of Amonkhet are something Wizards isnt completely opposed to, but they tend to avoid them unless the occasion calls for it
It excels in Commander, which encourages you to play creatures large enough that this is mana neutral because somebody at Wizards thought that would be an okay ceiling and games go long enough to really milk the card advantage
