It follows the traditional method with a second fermentation in bottle and up to 42 months resting on its lees, then adds a portion of Vecchio Samperi, an unfortified, solera aged Grillo, blended in to bring nutty depth and a subtle oxidative character. The result is a structured, bone dry, intensely flavoured sparkling
